1.Choose name and Category

About section: Here you will be required to give a brief description of what you are doing. Use catchy phrases and add a link to your website.

Upload profile picture:  Upload a profile picture which will be used to make your page visually appealing. Choose a high quality image that is directly related to your brand. Later on you will be required to add cover image which is a horizontal image that is at the top of your page. This image should have a minimum of 851 pixels by 315 pixels.

Add to Favourites: This is about making your page easily accessible to you once you log in to Facebook. You won't have to go to different menu so as to access your page.

3. Interact witn Admin Panel

You should have a good understanding of how the admin panel works as this is where you will be able to control most  of the activities on the page. Click on the "Settings" option which will give you the following options:

  • Page info: Here you can view and edit details about your page.
  • Notifications: Allows you to customise the way you receive notifications and page alerts.
  • Page roles: Here you assign roles to people who will manage your Facebook page. You can choose them and limit the number of actions that they can take depending on your preferences.

4. Adding content

Creating a Facebook page is not enough. You have to keep people engaged by adding posts into the page. Relevant posts will keep users engaged to your Facebook page and you will also be able to convey different types of messages.  Some of the most popular posts include plain texts, videos, photos, event alert and location check-in.

It is always encouraged to use images  because they can easily caapture attention of any user. Adding captions to image and video posts will help users to comprehend your posts faster.

5.  Page Metrics

Facebook enables you to vie the number of people that are engaging with your page.  Some of the key metrics that you can view include the number of likes, visits and reach. From this data, you will be able to make wise decision when it comes to marketing your products.
